The Next Meeting Galveston Community Network (GCN) will be Fri.
Mar. 10, 2000 at 2:00pm at
Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) in Room 112 of
the CLB (Classroom Lab Building) Number 3007.
The agenda for the next meeting is:
- Demo ATM based video conferencing
- Discuss cost estimates for legs of fiber star
- Discuss City and County efforts and involvement
- Discuss any other issues that come up
- Discuss Next Steps
- Agree on next meeting date and location
The To Do List between now and then is:
- TAMUG - John - Draw diagram of fiber star network and post on web site
- Steven - Get prices for ATM switches and video encoders for legs of fiber star
- Fore - Daryl - Contact City and County about next meeting.
- Set up meeting with UofH, TAMUG, and GC
- CG - Steve - Get approximate price estimates for legs of fiber star and invite Reliant
to next meeting
