The Sept  2004 Galveston Community Network (GCN) Monthly Meeting will be at Noon Wed 8 Sept at Rosenberg Library Randall room.  Eloy Martinez of Time Warner will discuss their possible fiber network initiatives on the island.  Time Warner will be providing lunch and drinks.

TIFF Grant Punch list are –

- Kiosk – Installing final kiosk-Letter has been sent to Port requesting that we partner on providing the service

             - UTMB purchase and develop content for kiosks (related but not funded by TIFF grant)

- Wireless –

            - Getting TAMUG remote sites up w/ connectivity to Mitchell campus

            - Creating connectivity between TAMUG and CG (firewalls, routing lists, etc.)

            - Getting other member remote sites up w/ connectivity to organizations central sites

            - Getting connectivity between all members (firewalls, routing lists, etc.)

            - Non Profit

-          Establish by laws and any other necessary paperwork for non profit status

-          Transferring property to 501c – In progress
