HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

The Dec 2004 Galveston Community Network (GCN) Monthly Meeting will be at Noon Wed 12 Jan 2005 at UTMB Room 3.324 in Levin Hall. As usual, parking can be a pain there, especially with all the construction. The cheapest parking is in a lot on Post Office St. and behind Schutte's Restaurant. The Administration garage is always available.   Lunch will be provided.

                        - Kiosk (Review request to move Kiosk from Seawall Visitor Center to Pocket Park) – (lead - TAMUG)

- TIFF Grant Punch List (TAMUG lead)

TIFF Grant Punch list are –

- Kiosk –UTMB purchase and develop content for kiosks (related but not funded by TIFF grant)

- Wireless –

            - Getting TAMUG remote sites up w/ connectivity to Mitchell campus

            - Creating connectivity between TAMUG and CG (firewalls, routing lists, etc.)

            - Getting other member remote sites up w/ connectivity to organizations central sites

            - Getting connectivity between all members (firewalls, routing lists, etc.)

            - Non Profit

-          Establish by laws and any other necessary paperwork for non profit status

-          Transferring property to 501c – In progress
